Nā Aumākua o ka ʻĀina a me ke Kai
Nā Aumākua o ka ʻĀina a me ke Kai (The Guardians of Land and Sea) is inspired by the Hawaiian tale of Kāne and Kanaloa, deities who embody the balance between land and sea. One side features ocean life and plants reflecting Kanaloa and Hawaii’s marine world, while the other showcases land life and plants representing Kāne. Flowing Hawaiian tribal patterns unify both sides, celebrating the harmony and interconnectedness of creation.
